5 Lifestyle Goals – Keeping It Real Simple

 We set ourselves up for failure by setting unrealistic goals. Goals that we know might not accommodate our lifestyles and would need a lot more work than just a simple change in perspective. Don’t get me wrong I am all for pushing the envelope and you know that saying we all hope to live by ‘the sky is the limit’? but let’s keep things simple, well at least the day to day things. Perhaps the change of perspective is exactly what we need to make those unrealistic goals more attainable. However, I have think a change in lifestyle choses is what will bring about real change. So, here are a few things that I would like to Iive by to ensure for a healthier mind, body and soul.

Water

It’s free! Let’s just start there, lol. There’s no need to worry about whether it’s gluten free or not, whether it’s sugar free or not.  We’ve read about, been told about it countless times by the old, the educated and the ‘experienced’ yet here I am reminding you to drink your 2 litres of water a day. Strange hey, aren’t we. I try to keep a water bottle with me; in the car, at work and in fridge, obviously.  This has helped me a lot because I am reminded to drink water every time I see my water bottle and my skin is really thankful for it.

Sleep

I try to keep a balance when it comes my sleeping patterns. I tend to a minimum of eight hours.

Keep it simple, keep it real and you’ll keep going.

Read

My plan for now is to start by reading one book every month. Hopefully overtime I can read two – three in a month but for now I know I am able to do one book and so it will be until I can successfully move on to reading two in a month . I enjoy reading self help books. So it ill be easy for me to one start and two continue reading from the self help genre. I hope to venture into love stories because I live for love stories! Reading is such to both develop the mind and improve on your knowledge.

Meditation 

To quiet my mind and fill as much positive thoughts to it is probably at the top of list of priorities. I want to do so through meditation. One aMy early mornings and last couple of minutes before I go to bed my mind wi
