I am back with another Swiitch Beauty review, you guys would have read my review on the #SlayForDaysPalette by now. Those of you who might not find the #TaupeNotchPalette enticing enough to purchase might just like the #SlaysForDaysPalette, so I would suggest you read up on it http://naidenemaitland.com/2016/12/13/swiitchbeauty-slaysfordayspalette-review-swatches/.To briefly describe the palette; it is warm toned and it has an array of matte neutrals, orange and brown tones to choose from. Along with a well balanced mix of shimmers but the #TaupeNotchPalette reigns supreme where shimmers are concerned. So I am getting right onto it!
This palette is a dupe for the Morphe 35T palette, the shades are quite similar in colour but not spot on accurate. The #TaupeNotchPalette has a variation of dreamy metallic and shimmer shadows enough to be called a staple metallic palette. It has a good balance of gold, bronze and copper tones, some cool grey toned shades not forgetting the beautiful plum tones. Where formulation is concerned I have not a clue as I have not used the Morphe 35T but what I do know is that the pigmentation for the #TaupeNotchPalette is “blinding for the Gods” like Nikkie Tutorials would put it, haha! On that note, the shadows aren’t packed with glitter so some of the shadows will do a darn good job at highlighting them cheekbones. Some shadows are more buttery than others and I experienced a bit of fall out while applying the eyeshadow but the fall out was not excessive. In closing, I would suggest this palette to those of you who are fond of shimmer shadows and on the opposite spectrum (those of you who have a thing for matte eye shadows) this might not be your kind of palette.
